The trip was long but they all talked alot and enjoyed the trip. The mountains were beautiful.
DeAnna was glad when they finally got there. It was late at night. They all had a drink and smoked some pot to unwind.
They sat outside on the porch to enjoy the stars and night sky. It was beautiful. DeAnna loved the country.
Rose got so high smoking pot & drinking she had to go in and use the bathroom but couldn't stand up. She laughed so
hard. So she crawled on her hands and knees. Everyone just started laughing.
"You gonna crawl to the bathroom?" Sheila asked laughing so hard.
"Yea!" Rose laughed.
"Oh, come on mom." DeAnna said laughing and tried to help her up off the floor.
"Ok!" Rose tried standing up. But as she got up she went back down. "I cann't!"
"Come on Rose. I'll help you" Rick said as he picked her up and but her arm over his shoulder. He walked her
to the bathroom. "I think you better hit the hay. Sheila, get the bedroom ready."
So Rose made it to the bed with everyone giving her a hand. It was a long drive and they drove right through. As soon
as she hit the bed she was out.
The next morning the sun was out. Sheila and Rick had a beautiful place in the country. The house was kinda small and
older but for the two of them it was good.
They went into town and bought things to have a cook out. Rose stayed a few days. But before she left they all went horseback
riding over some big water falls. And went to a cave inside a mountain. The weather was hot. So DeAnna had wore shorts. Boy,
was she in for a surprise when they got inside the cave. IT WAS COLD! And all through the tour DeAnna was wishing she would
of wore pants. It was beautiful though. It was so neat to see such life inside a mountain. Water ran inside and it was so
dark.
One evening Rick called a buddy of his to stop by, Doug Rogers. DeAnna though he was so cute. He had blonde hair and drove
a 55 Chevy with dice in the window.
The next day they all planned to go to the river. It was awesome. It was at the bottom of some mountains. It wound it's
way through. The mountains were so tall and nothing but rock straight up. DeAnna loved Tennessee.
Then it was time for Rose to leave and get back to work. She had took a week off.
DeAnna was talking with Sheila and telling her how she hated to go. She really loved it there.
"Well, lets talk to mom about you staying for the summer."
Sheila said.
"ALRIGHT!" DeAnna jumped up and hugged her sister.
"Mom!" DeAnna called out for her mom. She walked into the room where her mom was packing.
"Yes, DeAnna, what is it?"
"I really love it here and don't want to go. Sheila said I could stay for the summer. Can I stay? PLEASE!"
Her mom looked up at her. "Well, I guess it would be alright. I hate having to drive back by my self. But other than
that I don't see no problem with it. I know you'll have fun here. There's not as much to do in the city. And I work all the
time anyway."
"Oh, THANK YOU MOM!" DeAnna ran over and gave her a big hug and a kiss. "Here, I'll help you with your
packing the car."
So Rose left early that morning. DeAnna wished she would stay too. She really loved her family. Always having fun and
being there for each other. DeAnna cried a few tears as she left. Hoping she would be ok driving alone.
That afternoon Doug came back by. They all hung out on the porch. Drinking, smoking and listening to music. So it got
late. Rick had to work in the morning so went to bed. Doug had to go to work too. DeAnna got up to go in and as Doug got up
he said "Hey DeAnna? Want to go into town with me tomorrow afternoon when I get off work?"
DeAnna looked up at him, she was a bit surprised. "Yea, I'd love that. Round what time?"
"About 6pm."
"Ok, see you then." She said as he walked off to his car. She thought it was so cool. She loved old cars, it
was sweet. She waved goodbye as he drove off.
"He's so cute!" DeAnna said to Sheila who was sitting on the porch still, smiling.
"Yea, her sure is. And he's really sweet too. I know you'll have fun with him."
DeAnna and Sheila sat outside pretty late that night. DeAnna went out the minute she hit the bed.
